गेले दीड वर्ष रोजगार हमी योजना हा विषय घेऊन निर्माण फेलोशिप अंतर्गत शिक्षण, काम चालू आहे. आपल्या देशातील सद्य परिस्थिती बघता अशा उपक्रमांची नितांत गरज आहे. ग्रामीण भागात राहून उत्पादक कार्य करायचे असेल तर पाणी हे अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे ठरते. रोजगार हमीतून पाण्याचे व्यवस्थापन करण्यासाठीची पायाभून कामे करून या पाण्याच्या आधारे स्थानिक रोजगार निर्मिती व्हावी असा याचा उद्देश.
एका बाजूला हे काम चालू आहे. सरकारी योजना जशी चालते त्या कार्यक्षमतेनी ही देखील योजना चालू आहे. मधे विवेक सावंतांशी चर्चा करत असताना असा विषय निघाला की आजच्या सरकारी योजनेंमध्ये माणसाच्या बुद्धीला, उद्योजकतेला चालना मिळेल असे पैलू नसतात आणि त्यामुळे यात लोकांच्या बाजूने ओढा नाही दिसत. सरकार करेल तर आम्ही येवू असा एक भाव असतो. यातून मार्ग कसा काढायचा? माझ्या पायावर उभा राहण्यासाठी धडपड करण्याच्या वृत्तीला चालना मिळेल आणि अशा धडपड्या व्यक्तीला मदत म्हणून सरकार पाठीशी उभे असेल अशा योजना कशा बनवता येतील?
या चर्चेनंतर जमेल तिथे लोकांशी संवाद करत असताना अशी काही स्वयंरोजगाराची, उद्योजकतेची वेगळीच उदाहरणे बघायला मिळाली ती मांडण्याचा इथे प्रयत्न करत आहे.
पेठ नाशिक रस्त्यावर वाटेत एक घाट आहे. घाटातून परतत असताना एका बाईक वर भरपूर भंगार वाटावे असे सामान घेऊन जाताना एक माणूस दिसला. मला वाटलं जाऊन विचारवं की एवढे कुठे घेऊन जाताय, पण ते काही जमले नाही. थोडे पुढे एक मारुती चे छोटेसे देऊळ आहे. तिथे तो माणूस थांबला. मग मी ही थांबलो आणि त्याच्याशी गप्पा मारल्या... त्याचा विडियो खाली आहे. यात बहुतेक गोष्टी आलेल्या आहेत.

Thanks for posting it...I dont mean to criticize the person who post the video..But i feel that he asked irrelevant questions..Why should he do MSCIT, that course is not going to give him a job..Instead he is good in his buisness, may be he can collect e-waste or simillar. He needs steady income and probably needs more money to expand his buissness. I always remember Tom Freedman in such situation, he says there are people who is in need of things desperately and there are organizations who honestly want to help needy people.(Demand-Supply) The progress 'clicks' when these two indicators meet at right place and right moment. And i believe things like call centers for poor people, simplified technology, and simillar may will help poor peoples like him.. It is also seems like he might not know Rural Employment Garuntee Scheme, Micro, minicredit..Apart from that, This is my favorite blog since long time. I am not expert of rural poverty but what i feel i am writing it. Pls. dont misunderstand me.
PD yaar... c'mon! I dnt thnk he needs computer education in his case. I didn't get da point of posting dis video also.. it wud hav been interesting if u wud hav askd him more about the job he's doin..

मी आपला सहज संवाद करत होतो. या व्यक्तीचे नाव रमेश मधुकर साठे. या व्यवसायात पुढे काय करायचे आहे, असे विचारल्यावर रमेश म्हटला की हे कंप्युटरचे युग आहे पण शिक्षण कमी असल्याने आम्ही काहीच करू शकत नाही. त्याचे मुलींसाठी देखील स्वप्न होते की त्यांनी या कंप्युटर युगाशी सुसंगत जगावे. रमेशला जरी नाही जमले तरी त्याच्या मुलीना ही संधी मिळावी अशी त्याची इच्छा होती. म्हणून मी MSCIT चा उल्लेख केला.
अर्थात, सध्या मी MKCL मध्ये फेलो आहे म्हणून स्वाभाविकपणे हा प्रश्न विचारला. MKCL चा एक मुख्य उद्देश डिजिटल डिव्हाइड कमी करणे हा आहे!!
माझी भूमिका अशी आहे की या नवीन तंत्रज्ञानात प्रचंड ताकद आहे आणि त्याचा उपयोग सर्वांना होऊ शकतो.
रमेशच्या उल्लेखातून लक्षात आलेच की त्यालाही बाइक वापरून व्यवसाय वाढवण्यासाठी कर्ज घ्यावे लागले जे तो दर महा हप्ता देऊन फेडत आहे.

well the point of posting this video is to bring forward a different way of livelihood. this has a lot of learning value to me. for eg.
- this person is working for someone (lets call him the boss) there are 50 such people who work for this boss. which means the boss makes the most money out of this.
- to buy the bike, the boss has loaned it to him, for which he is paying back. it would be worthwhile to find out the interest rates and know whether they are just.
- रमेशला संगणक युग असल्याची जाणीव आहे. आपल्या मुलींना ही संधी मिळावी अशी त्याची इच्छा आहे.
- most importantly, ramesh is a part of the world we live in. he is doing a meaningful task of collecting 'waste' and taking it to a recycling location. his livelihood is based on this meaningful service. ramesh's contribution is important to keep this world livable. this is an effort to bring such peoples lives into our awareness. this is an effort to 'connect' to ramesh.
